In order to process your application for admission as a freshman at IUPUI, you will need to make sure that all application materials are sent to the university as soon as possible to ensure your application is reviewed in a timely matter. Applications cannot be processed until they are complete, with all materials receivedWhen applying, you should:


Pay the application fee

The Office of Undergraduate Admissions will not accept an application without receiving the $50 application fee, or a request for a waiver. We highly recommend that you apply using our secure online application, and paying the fee with a credit card.

  • Requesting a Fee Waiver? Application fee waivers are granted to current high school students who demonstrate financial hardship by submitting a ACT, CollegeBoard, or NACAC fee waiver request form through their high school guidance counselors. If you apply online, and request a fee waiver, your waiver form must arrive by the date you designate on your application.
  • If you have applied within 18 months.... Students who have applied to the IUPUI within the past 18 months do not need to pay the application fee. If this applies to you, complete our application update form.

Request official transcripts

Students who have not attended college after their high school career must submit an official copy of their high school record. Current high school seniors can typically have their guidance counselor submit their transcripts along with their counselor information form. Need to request a transcript? Download our transcript request form.

  • Don't forget the SAT or ACT! Current high school seniors must take either the SAT or ACT to be considered for Admission. If you are taking the ACT, be sure to take the writing portion. Have your scores sent directly to our office. IUPUI's school code is 1325 for the SAT, and 1214 for the ACT
