Important Information for Transfer Applicants

All applicants are reminded that  you must list every institution attended after leaving high school.  Attended means you registered for classes and remained registered during the second week of classes. Do not omit any institution.  Failure to list an institution attended is considered a falsified application which will lead to either denial of admission or dismissal from the University.

Please note the following closing dates. Closing date means the application, application fee, and all required credentials must be received by this date.
May session---March 15
June session ----May 1
Fall semester---May 1
Spring semester---Nov 1

College students who wish to attend IUPUI for a summer or a single term must apply as a non-degree student.

Note: Students admitted into pre professional programs by Office of Undergraduate Admissions have not been admitted into the major. Programs such as nursing, dental assisting, dental hygiene, social work, and all medical undergraduate programs require completion of all requirements plus submission of a school application for consideration for the major. For deadlines and additional information see the Web sites for the appropriate IUPUI school.

If you are a U.S. citizen or a non citizen with permanent resident, refugee or asylee status and you have completed one full year of U.S. university/college level education (24 sem. hours/36 qtr. hours) and no more than one year of post-secondary education outside the U.S., you will apply through the Undergraduate Admissions Office. Official secondary school and all higher education documents (where necessary accompanied by an English translation by a certified translator) must be provided as part of the application. All other prospective students (including U.S. citizens educated outside of the United States) will apply through the Office of International Affairs. Consult the Office of International Affairs for more information and an application.
